Hey,
I've been trying a lots of different combination of number sessions with these 2 old laptops:
laptop A: Intel® Core™ i5 3210M (dual core) with 4GB RAM, HDD storage
laptop B: Intel® Core™ i7-3632QM (quad core) with 8GB RAM, HDD storage

Maximum I had was around 60k points per hour with laptop A running 24 sessions and laptop B running 33 sessions. Although after some hours running after reboot this value decays to about 45k points per hour

Also, I've setup scripts that makes them reboot every 12h and 9hits is restarting every 14h. They're both running in a linux env: ubuntu minimal + iceWM for graphics.

What are your thoughts about this? Any recommendation to optimize point generation?

not a bad result, but laptop b can be more, about 40 sessions, replacing hdd with a ssd can improve the result
noticed the latest version is very stable and regular reboot is not required
If I was looking to buy a PC dedicated to 9hits, would I want to buy an intel Xeon or amd Epyc (more cores and less performance per core) or a intel i7/i9 or Amd ryzen 3900x (less cores and more performance per core)?
