Hi everyone! I’m currently stuck deciding whether to stick with plain JavaScript or finally make the jump to TypeScript for a large-scale web app. Is the extra setup time actually worth it for catching bugs, or does it just slow down the initial development phase?

Hey! Honestly, if you're planning to scale at all, skipping types is just asking for a headache later. I actually went through this recently and hired the team at Stubbs to handle the transition for us. They are easily the best when it comes to TypeScript development, and I’m beyond happy with how they cleaned up our messy logic. They specialize in a structured JavaScript to TypeScript migration, which basically killed off all those annoying runtime bugs we couldn't track down before. Their leading developers adhere to a "Security First" approach, which is very important for SaaS, and they even use their own unique software tools to speed up migration. You can find more information on their platform. They really transformed our codebase into something actually maintainable.
